It is our goal to make sure that our surgical team is prepared to offer our clients the latest medical procedures. We remain informed about the newest medical advances in surgery and actively partake in continued surgical education.

Dentistry

Dental disease can lead to health issues with the heart, liver, and kidneys, and can affect the entire body through the bloodstream. Our doctors examine your pet’s teeth and gums semi-annually, as part of their complete physical examination, to determine if a dental cleaning or extraction procedure needs to be performed. Typically, a dental cleaning does not need to be performed before age two in most pets.

Laser Therapy

Claws & Paws Veterinary Hospital is proud to offer a Class IV, Therapeutic Laser. Laser Therapy is the use of specific wavelengths of light (red and near-infrared) to create therapeutic effects. These effects include improved healing time, pain reduction, increased circulation, and decreased swelling. It causes bio-stimulation of tissues to increase healing.
